ABN and GST are fields, not guesses

Every invoice comes out with the supplier's ABN, the GST amount and the total in their own columns, and overseas invoices get their tax ID labelled for what it is.

The Xero download follows the column headings of Xero's BillTemplate.csv exactly, so it goes in through Purchases → Bills → Import without any column mapping.

What happens to your file.

You upload it. It travels over TLS 1.2 or newer.

It's read in memory and sent to Anthropic's API in the United States for extraction.

The file is discarded. It is never written to disk.
